I’m Teresa, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and I truly believe that healing can be both science-driven and personal. My background is rooted in emergency medicine and complex wound care, where I spent years helping patients through serious injuries and life-changing moments. That experience taught me not only how the body heals, but how scars can linger- physically and emotionally- long after a wound has closed.

As I grew in my role as a nurse practitioner, my passion naturally shifted toward restorative care. Working in wound care showed me how powerful early, intentional treatment can be, and it sparked my interest in scar restoration. I love that this work combines medical expertise with artistry, confidence-building, and long-term transformation. It felt like the perfect bridge between everything I’d trained for and the kind of care I wanted to provide.

I’m very much a girls’ girl at heart- warm, bubbly, and always ready to hype someone up- but I also take pride in being incredibly detail-oriented and clinically precise. I believe patients deserve care that feels supportive and empowering while still being grounded in strong medical knowledge. At Chrysalis Skin & Scar, I’m able to bring both sides together: thoughtful, evidence-based treatment in an environment that feels welcoming and uplifting.

Outside of the clinic, I’m a mom to two amazing boys who keep life fun and full. I love shopping, traveling, discovering new restaurants, cheering on sports teams, and indulging my love for interior design. I’m someone who appreciates beauty, details, and thoughtful spaces- and I carry that same mindset into the care I provide.

At Chrysalis Skin & Scar, my goal is for every patient to feel confident, cared for, and excited about what’s ahead. Healing should feel empowering, and I’m honored to be part of that journey.
