Mischelle Johnson MMS, PA-C
Vice President
I’m Mischelle, a board-certified Physician Assistant, and I’ve been practicing medicine in the Valley for more than 22 years. Much of my career has been spent in emergency medicine, where I worked with patients facing serious injuries and high-stress situations. That experience shaped my approach to care- steady, focused, and rooted in strong clinical judgment.
Over time, my work expanded into mobile primary care and chronic wound management. Through both my professional experience and a personal journey of my own, I became increasingly aware of how scars can affect people long after the initial injury or procedure has healed. I saw a clear need for specialized, medically driven scar revision and treatment, which ultimately led me to help create Chrysalis Skin & Scar.
Scar restoration felt like a natural extension of my background in wound care- bridging healing with long-term outcomes and quality of life. I value thoughtful, evidence-based treatment plans and believe patients deserve clear guidance, realistic expectations, and care they can trust.
Outside of the clinic, I’m a mom and a proud grandma, roles I value deeply. I’m a lifelong sports enthusiast and enjoy breaking down player performance and statistics- so much so that I’ve considered starting a sports podcast focused on analyzing the numbers behind the game. I also enjoy shopping and exploring new restaurants and consider myself a true foodie at heart.
At Chrysalis Skin & Scar, my goal is to provide patients with knowledgeable, consistent, and individualized care. I’m committed to helping people understand their options and move forward with confidence in both their treatment and their outcomes.
