Vbeam® Laser by Candela
At Chrysalis Skin & Scars, the Vbeam® laser represents a clinically validated, pulsed dye laser platform designed to target vascular and pigmented skin irregularities with precision and safety. Unlike broad-spectrum light or superficial cosmetic light sources, Vbeam delivers a specific wavelength of light that is absorbed selectively by blood vessels and pigmented structures, inducing controlled photothermolysis, a scientifically grounded process by which abnormal tissues are remodeled without widespread disruption to surrounding tissue.
For vascular concerns, including visible blood vessels, rosacea, hemangiomas, and persistent redness, Vbeam is exceptionally effective because it targets oxyhemoglobin within the vessel walls. As this chromophore absorbs the laser energy, it triggers a localized thermal response that encourages the body’s natural clearance mechanisms to resorb the targeted vascular elements. The result is a significant reduction in visible redness and improved vascular balance in the treated skin.
When used for pigmented lesions, including sunspots, age spots, and other localized melanin irregularities, Vbeam can shift the balance of pigment through a similar process of controlled energy absorption and progressive cellular turnover. By stimulating regulated regeneration, this treatment supports a more even skin tone and reduces the visual contrast that often accompanies dysregulated pigmentation.
Vbeam is also applied to a range of other dermatologic concerns where selective targeting of vascular or pigment components can improve appearance and tissue health. Because the treatment leverages precise energy delivery, it allows for predictable outcomes while minimizing inflammation and downtime.
Every Vbeam session at Chrysalis begins with a comprehensive assessment of skin type, lesion characteristics, and individual healing profiles. We calibrate treatment parameters based on objective clinical factors — such as vessel depth, pigment density, and Fitzpatrick skin type — to maximize efficacy while preserving safety and comfort.
This is not superficial light therapy.
It is biologic modulation of skin targets through science-driven photothermic interaction.
When integrated into a personalized treatment plan, Vbeam supports structured improvement in vascular tone, pigment distribution, and overall skin harmony, helping you feel more balanced, restored, and confident in your skin.
