Optimizing Circulation & Tissue Recovery
At Chrysalis Skin & Scars, Lymphatic & Detox Support is a clinically guided therapy designed to enhance lymphatic circulation, reduce tissue congestion, and support the body’s natural inflammatory regulation processes.
The lymphatic system plays a critical role in maintaining fluid balance, immune response, and cellular waste removal. Unlike the cardiovascular system, the lymphatic system does not have a central pump. It relies on movement, tissue contraction, and structural integrity to circulate lymphatic fluid effectively. When this system becomes sluggish — whether due to surgery, inflammation, trauma, or prolonged inactivity — fluid accumulation, swelling, and delayed healing may occur.
Our approach focuses on supporting physiologic drainage and tissue recovery.
Using structured manual techniques and supportive modalities, we stimulate lymphatic flow to encourage improved interstitial fluid movement and reduced inflammatory congestion. This may be particularly beneficial following surgical procedures, scar revision treatments, or energy-based therapies where controlled inflammation is part of the healing process.
Lymphatic & Detox Support may assist with:
Post-surgical swelling and fluid retention
Tissue tightness or congestion
Inflammatory response modulation
Support during scar remodeling
Optimization of healing following laser or collagen-stimulating treatments
Each session begins with an assessment of tissue presentation, surgical history (if applicable), and areas of fluid stagnation or restriction. Techniques are applied gently and strategically to encourage physiologic movement without overstimulating the tissue.
This is not superficial massage.
It is structured lymphatic facilitation.
By improving circulation and reducing localized congestion, we create a more balanced tissue environment — one that supports efficient healing, improved comfort, and more predictable regenerative outcomes.
At Chrysalis, restoration includes supporting the systems beneath the skin.
Because healthy circulation is foundational to meaningful recovery.
